Kratom Capsules - A Review of Kratom Extract

18 Feb

You have probably heard of kratom, the leaves of the kratom tree. It is a natural product that has been used for centuries by the native peoples of Thailand and the Philippines for its amazing healing effects. The leaves are dried and cracked, much like any other type of dried root. You can purchase the leaves in powder form and take them just like you would any other dietary supplement. There are many different manufacturers of kratom powder and a simple internet search should reveal the variety of brands.  When you want to buy kratom online, you will probably find that most of the products available are being sold under the name Mitragynine.

If you have taken a Mitragynine capsule, or any of the other opioid-like effects products, it is likely that you noticed some immediate and sometimes long-lasting positive side effects. This may include relief from the discomfort that comes with gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, sleep problems, anxiety, and physical and/or mental fatigue. Since the primary reason people use these products  here is to treat debilitating pain, the favorable effects from the use of kratom can be highly beneficial to patients in the medical field.

The question that must be addressed is what exactly is meant by the term "mitragynine" in relation to the opioid-like effects? Google scholar was not able to uncover any scientific research that reports on the actual composition of mitragynine. In fact, there is very limited information on the pharmaceutical properties of this botanical. We do know, however, that the leaves of the kratom tree have been used for centuries as a medicinal treatment for various ailments, including the common cold, fatigue, and pain. Other botanicals that are contained in the leaves include ephedra and other alkaloids.

As you may imagine, using a diatom product for the purpose of pain management can have some negative side effects. Common complaints from users include mild dizziness, insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, nausea, and even panic attacks. The exact mechanism responsible for the opioid-like properties of mitragynine is not known, but many believe it may be related to the action of the neurotransmitter GABA. For this reason, it may be useful to use kratom products under the care of a qualified medical doctor.

Because kratom is classified as a Schedule II drug, the possession, sale, and importation of the herb is strictly prohibited. While the federal government has taken a position against kratom use, the federal Drug Enforcement Administration has not threatened to criminally prosecute those who openly purchase kratom from online retailers. This lack of enforcement has created a gray area of controversy between state and federal law enforcement officials and drug enforcement administrators. While the FDA has not taken an official stance against kratom, the state of Florida has placed a ban on the substance, citing the fact that hundreds of pounds of the substance were seized in connection to public consumption.

The internet is the best resource for finding information on any subject, and this includes the controversial debate surrounding atom. Many sites, including the one linked to here, provide accurate information and detailed instructions for the preparation of kratom supplements. Consumers should also be aware that most kratom products are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration. This is the same for kratom capsules, which are not regulated by the FDA.  If you want to know more about this topic, then click here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitragynine.
